You can add the Pup Photo Frame Painting experience onto any service in your home (minimum 1 hr visit) or to a boarding/day care service in my home at no additional charge to you! Exciting, right? These painted frames make great “gifts” from your pet for special occasions and are a wonderful way to create an everlasting memory to honor your pet for years to come.

Supplies needed to make your dog an artist and create a pup-painted masterpiece!

All you need to make your pups masterpiece is:

  • peanut butter (no artificial sugars please!)

  • a small 5x7 or 4 x 6 wooden frame (wide edged types are best with more room for your dog to create their masterpiece!)

  • your choice of acrylic paint colors (or you can choose to use the assorted blue colors I already have)

I take care of the rest! Note: this works best with food-motivated pets!

You will end up with a one-of-a-kind piece of art from your pet that you can also use to frame a photo from a special moment, and I will share photos and videos from the painting session with you!

Not only does this create beautiful and unique art, there are benefits for your pets as well. For dogs and cats both, licking has been known to be a comfort action.

The repetitive action of licking is shown to release endorphins in their brains which will cause a calming effect in animals. Due to this, I encourage lick mats for cats and dogs as well. You can put a variety of healthy foods onto a lick mat, or even freeze these items in the summer months for a tasty treat that's sure to both satisfy and sooth your furry family member when you are away!

Licking food can also help with tiring your pet out! Using a licking toy is a form of mental exercise for your dog or cat. Our pets need to use their brain as they lick, and as your animal uses their brain, it gives them mental stimulation. A tired pet is a very happy one!
